Creamy Garlic Mushrooms on... Nothing
Usually a side, but sod it — eat a big bowl of these as dinner. They're that good.
Ingredients
Makes 2 portions
- 400.00 grams chestnut mushrooms , quartered
- 100.00 ml double cream
- 30.00 grams butter
- 3.00 clove(s) garlic cloves , finely sliced

Melt the butter in a pan over high heat. Add the mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes without stirring — let them get properly golden.

💡 If you stir too much they steam. Leave them alone.

Add the garlic. Cook for 1 minute.

Pour in the cream. Let it bubble and reduce for 3-4 minutes until it coats the mushrooms.

Season generously with salt, pepper and a pinch of chilli flakes if you want.
