Chicken Drumsticks in Spiced Butter

- 10.00 piece(s) chicken drumsticks
- 50.00 grams butter , melted
- 2.00 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 2.00 clove(s) garlic powder or 2 cloves , crushed
- 0.50 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Preheat oven to 200C. Mix the melted butter, paprika, garlic and cayenne.

Pat the drumsticks dry. Toss in the butter mixture until coated.
💡 Dry skin = crispy skin. Always pat dry.

Lay on a baking tray, not touching each other. Season with salt.

Bake for 40 minutes until the skin is crispy and the juices run clear.

Storage
Fridge 4 days. Good cold straight from the fridge.
Reheating
Oven 180C for 10 minutes to re-crisp the skin. Microwave works but the skin goes soft.
Serving ideas through the week
Day 1: Hot with salad. Day 2: Cold for lunch. Day 3: Strip the meat off and add to a stir fry. Day 4: Cold with coleslaw.
