Swede Chips
Not chips. Not pretending to be chips. But roasted swede with the right seasoning is a proper good side.
Ingredients
Makes 4 portions
- 1.00 piece(s) swede , peeled and cut into thick chip shapes
- 2.00 tablespoon olive oil
- 1.00 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 0.50 teaspoon garlic powder

Method

Preheat oven to 200C. Peel the swede and cut into thick chip shapes.

Toss with olive oil, paprika and garlic. Season well.

Spread on a baking tray — don't crowd them.
💡 Crowding = steaming = soggy. Use two trays if needed.

Roast for 35 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and crispy on the edges.
